I’m hyped to finally reveal the official cover for SHONEN PUNX! Vol. 1. This series is a heavy-hitting mix of action, comedy, and sci-fi that I’ve been developing to bridge the gap between classic Shonen energy and underground punk aesthetics.
For this cover, I wanted to lean into high-contrast linework and a chaotic, kinetic composition that mirrors the life of the main character, Chiitsu. It’s about that DIY spirit—loud, messy, and unapologetic.
📖 The Story
Chiitsu Pinkada’s life in his record and comic shop gets turned upside down when his mad-scientist siblings bring his high school “dream girl” OC to life as a bio-mecha. Now, he’s trading crate-digging for cosmic combat. If you like FLCL, Scott Pilgrim, or Dandadan, this is for you.
